Anna Friel & James Frecheville Join Pierce Brosnan’s ‘I.T.’ – Cannes

 

EXCLUSIVE: Anna Friel will play Pierce Brosnan’s wife and James Frecheville is his nemesis in I.T., a revenge techno-thriller from director John Moore. Brosnan plays Mike Ryan, a self-made businessman whose company is on the verge of changing the aircraft-leasing business when his relationship with a young tech consultant (Frecheville) sours. The dude begins stalking Mike’s daughter (Stefanie Scott) and using technology to threaten his family, his business and his life. Bad idea.

Friendly Films and Brosnan’s Irish DreamTime are producing I.T., which was scripted by Dan Kay and William Wisher Jr. The film is in preproduction in Dublin with David T. Friendly and Beau St. Clair producing. Voltage Pictures is selling the title at Cannes.

Friel most recently appeared in the British TV series American Odyssey and The Heavy Water War: Stopping Hitler’s Atomic Bomb. Other recent credits include the features Good People and Having You and TV’s Pushing Daisies. She is repped by UTA, , Untitled Entertainment and the Artists Partnership in the UK. Frecheville is coming off Sundance hit The Stanford Prison Experiment. Repped by UTA and MGMT Entertainment, his credits also include Mall, The Drop and Animal Kingdom.
