In the vein of FINDING NEVERLAND and DEAD POETS SOCIETY, Phoebe in Wonderland is the fantastical tale of a little girl who won't or can't follow the rules. Unable to inhibit herself and confounded by the normal-obsessed world around her, Phoebe finds solace in the school production of Alice in Wonderland and inspiration from her unconventional drama teacher. As pressures mount at home and in school, Phoebe begins to retreat to the imaginary universe of Wonderland, where the rules perpetually, whimsically shift and where the freeing and redemptive possibilities are endless.
